The Harvard Parks and Recreation Department is a member of several professional organizations!
Stacy, the Parks and Recreation Superintendent, also recently became a Certified Aquatic Facility Operator (APO) through the National Recreation & Park Association. Next up on her "to do list" is to be reinstated as a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional, after her 20-year leave from the recreation industry. Long-term goals include receiving CAPRA accreditation through the NRPA to ensure the highest level of service, and to complete the Distinguished Park and Recreation Accreditation through the IAPD to improve the delivery of recreation services.
